My husband and I stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. It's cute and charming. Nice private balcony and private access to the beach with a very solid staircase. Other closeby inns use the same beach but have different access points, and there were only a few people there. We were provided with a tide booklet, which was very helpful. Loved the ambiance of the fireplace and having fresh coffee for the morning. The only negative thing for me was the mattress was too hard for me and the pillow over stuffed. That's me, though. I prefer a softer mattress and thinner pillow. A suggestion I'd make since there were 4 pillows provided would be to have a couple that aren't as stuffed. My husband slept fine. Overall, it is a very cute place, an older motel that's has been remodeled while maintaining its surfer beach charm. I definitely recommend it!

this motel is fantastic, clean cozy and in a great location. there’s private access to the beach and a fire pit with a view that’s perfect for sitting and enjoying a glass of wine or dinner. we felt very|comfortable here and honestly didn’t want to leave! costumer services was exceptional and staff was happy to help us if needed!

There is no place more beautiful than Agate Beach and no place better to enjoy it than at the Agate Beach Motel. The people are lovely, the rooms cozy, homey and comfortable, and the views can knock you off your feet.. from your room! I wish I could stay there more often.

This spot is beautiful. The suite was clean and had everything we needed. The service was excellent and personable. I loved that the fire circle that my friend and I first began was completed by other friendly guests, and created a fantastic experience as a sharing circle. As a former surfer girl, thus spot has the vibe I love.

We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were super cute - our room had a living/dining room with kitchenette and a bedroom ( and our bed was really comfortable). There was also a deck overlooking the property and ocean. The staff was helpful and friendly.

My wife, son and I stayed here for a quick birthday getaway and really enjoyed this place. Location is great, just minutes from town but quiet and quaint. Our room was in good shape, very clean and comfortable with a bed room, small kitchen nook, and living room space. And all of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. Plus it's just a 30 second walk down the steps to the beach!
